This event is free to participate in; There is no charge to exhibit or attend this event.

When is vendor set up?

Vendors will be allowed into the venue at 7:00 am to load in and set up their space. If additional time is needed, please contact the Office of Business Diversity (OBD) to make arrangements prior to arriving on the day of the event.

Who should attend the Reverse Trade Fair (RTF)?

The primary audience for this event are construction and construction related service vendors. That said, all are welcome.

Prime contractors will include the following district prequalification lists and departments.

  • 2016 General Contractors
  • Awarded A&E firms for 2019 project catalog
  • Project Managers
  • Facility Management
  • Strategic Sourcing
  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control
  • Construction Services

What is the vendor directory?

A directory of the vendors exhibiting in the Reverse Trade Fair will be provided on site for prime contractors, event attendees and DPS buyers to take with them and reference as they prepare for the upcoming construction season.

Important note: the vendor directory can only be attained via email in event preparation materials for prime contractors or on site during the event.

No exceptions will be made.

What is included in the vendor directory?

Vendors exhibiting in the Reverse Trade Fair will have their information added to the 2018 RTF Vendor Directory. The information will be distributed to prime contractors, event attendees and DPS buyers and will include:

  • Company Name
  • Product/Service Description
  • Point of Contact information
  • Types of Goods and Services (Example: Subcontractor – Design, Professional Goods, Architectural Services)
  • Certification held

How many people attended last year's event?

Over 70 vendors and 225 people attended the 2017 Reverse Trade Fair.

Is there food and beverage at this event?

Denver Public Schools’ offers light refreshments inside the venue including assorted beverages and snack items.

Food trucks will be available on site for attendees that would like a more substantial meal.

2018 Reverse Trade Fair

Presented by the Denver Public Schools' Office of Business Diversity

The Reverse Trade Fair (RTF) is an annual event offered by the Denver Public Schools’ Office of Business Diversity. The RTF offers local vendors an opportunity to participate in the largest connection event hosted for Construction trades in the school district.

The RTF is free to exhibit at and participate in but space is limited. The purpose of this event is to showcase local talent and to help Denver Business owners develop beneficial relationships/partnerships while connecting with DPS Prime contractors and department representatives.

Attendees and Exhibitors are encouraged to send senior staff with an intricate knowledge of your companies capabilities and work experience to maximize the interactions with the Prime contractors and DPS decision makers that will be in attendance.

Over 80 vendors will be participating in the 2018 Reverse Trade Fair.
