Workshops & Classes

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and CDC guidelines, in-person events have been cancelled or rescheduled in a virtual format at this time. Based on available information, Denver Public Schools Office of Business Diversity anticipates in person programming to begin in late summer as the vaccine becomes readily available. Events scheduled in August and throughout the remainder of the year are scheduled to be conducted in person but are subject to change per local health guidelines.

The 2021 Reverse Trade Fair is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 15th and is anticipated to occur in person.

Join the DPS Office of Business Diversity for the 2021 Coffee Chat series. This event provides a casual environment for district vendors, employees, and community members to gather and connect.

Quarterly events are attended by DPS personnel representing the corresponding meeting focus.

How to Do Business with DPS Series

Learning How to Do Business with Denver Public Schools workshops are planned in accordance with the Bidding Schedule. These workshops give potential contractors/vendors a comprehensive look in the bidding arena at Denver Public Schools.

By attending a workshop you will learn what is necessary to do business and how to take advantage of potential opportunities within the district. After the workshop, the Office of Business Diversity (OBD) Outreach Coordinator is available to keep you updated on your submitted application and to keep you informed when bid opportunities become available.

Workshops are currently being held via Google Meets per CDC guidelines. These are conducted from 9:00 am – 11:00 am during even months or 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm odd months. Video links and/or in-person attendance information is sent with event confirmation.
