DPS recognizes the following certifications for the MWBE goals program

• City and County of Denver (M/WBE)

• National Minority Supplier Development Council (MBE)

• Women Business Enterprise Council (WBE)

• These agencies do not conduct certifications on behalf of Denver Public Schools, nor do they provide OBD referrals. DPS does, however, accept certification certificates which have been provided by the agencies listed

Certified businesses must be located in Denver Aurora combined Statistical Area (CSA) to qualify for DPS MWBE goal utilization. 

Denver Aurora CSA consists of the following counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Gilpin, Jefferson, Park and Weld.
